Hey There
My name is Fouad Qamar, and a strong interest in human rights, immigration, asylum and refugee protection drives my professional work.
I support individuals and families who are navigating immigration and government processes in the UK. I understand that these processes can be complex, especially when you are dealing with unfamiliar requirements, important deadlines or a language barrier.
All About Me
My approach is simple. I listen to your circumstances, explain the process clearly and provide practical support within the scope of my professional role.
Why This Work Matters to Me
My interest in immigration and refugee protection developed through my academic and professional work in human rights.
I am particularly interested in access to justice and the challenges faced by people who are displaced or navigating systems that can be difficult to understand.
For me, this work is not only about forms and applications. It is about helping people understand their position, identify the appropriate next steps and navigate the process with greater confidence.
My Academic Background
I completed all coursework and my thesis for an MA in Human Rights Law and International Human Rights Law. Final defence is temporarily deferred. Jinan University, Lebanon.
I am currently studying for an MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies at the University of London.
My Professional Development
I am qualified at OISC/IAA Level 1 and am currently working towards Level 2 in Asylum and Protection.
I am also a certified trainer in Leadership and Peacebuilding Skills through the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI).
I continue to develop my knowledge through further study and professional development, particularly in immigration, asylum, refugee protection and human rights.
I am a proud member of several reputable legal and consulting associations, which connect me with industry professionals and provide valuable resources to enhance the quality of our services.
I am a member of the Human Rights Lawyers Association (M25062786475) and the Legal Aid Practitioners Group (LAPG).
